All special equipment is stored in our AvaHost data center in the Republic of Moldova, in Chisinau.

Dislocation

The stable and high-performance operation of our server equipment, as well as its security and uninterrupted availability, is guaranteed by its placement in a specialized data center. Our data center is located in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, in a unique and secure facility – a former bomb shelter of a military factory. Situated 5 meters underground, this location ensures the utmost security for our servers and the confidential data they store and process.

The data center was established and became operational in 2001, boasting impressive specifications including:

A robust communication channel of 20 Gbit/s, ensuring reliable and high-speed connectivity.

Stable Power Supply

Two independent substations ensure reliable power delivery. A Personal ABP enables seamless switching between inputs. The feeder power capacity is 1.6 MW. Additionally, an individual generator of the SDMO diesel type and UPS guarantee uninterrupted power supply.

Connectivity

Users benefit from three independent inputs provided by different companies, each offering 10 Gbps. The total channel width amounts to 30 Gbps, with the possibility of expanding channels to accommodate the needs of major users.

Network Structure

The data center employs meticulously crimped and tested cables of the sixth category, supporting intranet routing through Cisco equipment.

Efficient Cooling

The data center maintains temperature stability within the range of +24 to +27 degrees Celsius. Cooling follows the N + 1 scheme, ensuring redundancy. The average annual Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) stands at 1.2.

High-Level Security

The data center building benefits from the protection and control of two specialized security agencies. CCTV cameras are installed throughout the data center’s territory, and the perimeter is closely guarded to maintain security.

Innovative DDoS Protection

The data center features an advanced system for defending against DDoS attacks, with an option to mitigate attacks at speeds of up to 1 Tbps. Voxility, a trusted partner of AvaHost, ensures the security and privacy of user data. Access to a direct optical link to Romania is also available through Voxility's data center deployment.
